FLLA - Volunteers!

FLLA is so thankful for the volunteer assistance yesterday. We had 11 volunteers: Aletha, Debbie, Don, Fran, Ingrid, Jenny, Norma, Shelley, Tom (Frantz) and Tom (Frey) and Wendy. We spread mulch which will help to conserve water and suppress weeds, removed many blue gum eucalyptus seedlings, and deadheaded some native plants. Thanks for all your hard work everyone!
It was a warm day but we managed to spread a large pile of mulch which was donated by the City of SLO. We are so grateful for the support of the City, Park Rangers, and community members! It takes a village to rehabilitate this special place, and we could not do it without your help!
